We are delighted to inform you that the Closed Alpha for Marvel Rivals will take place in a few days!

✦ Where can I play the Closed Alpha?

The Closed Alpha Test will be on PC-only. If you are selected to participate in the Closed Alpha, we will send you an email, make sure to check your spam!

✦ When will the Closed Alpha be available?

The Closed Alpha will take place from May 10th, 2024, at 05:00 PM (PDT) to May 20th, 2024 at 11:59 PM (PDT). Please note that Competitive mode will be available on the second day from 5:00 PM (PDT) to 12:00 AM (PDT). Moving Forward, Competitive mode will be accessible every day from 12:00 PM (PDT) to 12:00 AM (PDT) to ensure optimal matchmaking due to lower player numbers during late night/early mornings.

✦ Will there be other ways to get into the Closed Alpha?

Please stay tuned for announcements as there will be more opportunities to join our CAT. Alternatively, as there is no NDA during the Closed Alpha, remember to check out our Official Content Creators on Twitch or YouTube Live, they might have CAT codes for us!

✦ What are the Recommended PC System Requirements for Closed Alpha?

The recommended PC system requirements for Marvel Rivals Closed Alpha Test are as follows:

Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit

Processor: Intel Core i5-10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X

Memory: 16 GB

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 (Super) or AMD RX 5700-XT

DirectX Version: 12

Storage Space: 70 GB SSD space is required

NOTE: These specs do not represent the final spec. Please keep in mind that we are still optimizing, and the launch specs will be lower.

✦ What content will be available during the Closed Alpha?

During the Closed Alpha, players will have access to the following characters: Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Groot, Hela, Hulk, Iron Man, Loki, Luna Snow, Magik, Magneto, Mantis, Namor, Peni Parker, Punisher, Rocket Raccoon, Star-Lord, Storm, Scarlet Witch, and Spider-Man. Also, players will be able to enjoy three game modes (Convoy, Domination, and Convergence) and three maps (YGGSGARD: YGGDRASILL PATH, YGGSGARD: ROYAL PALACE, and TOKYO 2099: SHIN-SHIBUYA).

✦ Will there be more content in the full game at launch?

Yes. The content available in the Closed Alpha is a small sample of the full scope of the game. There will be more content available at the game launch.

✦ Will my progress and data remain after the test?

No, all account data will be wiped after the test.

✦ How can I stay updated on game news and future tests?

✦ Can I use a controller to play Marvel Rivals?

Controller support will be available during this test!

✦ Is there a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for the Closed Alpha Test on May 10th?

There is no NDA for our Closed Alpha Test. You can share your CAT experience and all types of content on all platforms. Please bear in mind that our game is still in the Closed Alpha development phase, so all footage does not represent final gameplay.
